The Locker-Room Program
The Locker-Room is a mentoring program that targets urban males from ages 14-19 years old. Mentors and mentees connect with each other and go through unique phases. Each phase targets specific areas that include self-discovery, empowerment through counseling, and professional and personal development. This program uses a team-based, small group mentoring approach.
Program Goals include, but are not limited to:
Critical thinking skills
Conflict resolution skills
College and career readiness
The “Huddle Up”
The “Huddle up” is an atmosphere where students can gain support for their education, personal growth, and through challenges they face as men of color in today's society.
“Get In the Game”
G.I.G. is a series of professional development workshops, training's, lectures, motivational talks, group exercises, retreats, and assessments. Topics range from personal development, leadership and management training, understanding organizational climate, and increasing work effectiveness.
